Reading, yes. The phone app keeps a saved copy of your book - customers, balances, the ledger, expenses and staff - so you can look anything up with no signal, and it tells you when it was last saved. Recording money needs a connection: entries are written on the server so every balance always adds up, and if the connection drops nothing is lost - what you typed stays on screen until you tap Try again.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with AES-256-GCM, the same standard banks use. Bank details, ID numbers and KYC documents are masked on the way out of the server and are never stored on the phone, so a handset passed across the counter shows nothing it should not. Only you and the staff you authorise can sign in.
Pick who to chase - everyone with dues, or only those overdue 30 or 60 days - and each reminder opens in WhatsApp for you to send from your own number, in the language you set for that customer. SahiHisab records that the reminder went out and when. Nothing is sent without you tapping Send.
